Today i got off my lazy butt and took pictures of my first LP. So this guitar is kind of special to me. Its a 2007 sunburst.

I got it from a friend. Your never going to believe but only $100 and it plays amazing.

Then got an Epiphone Les Paul Standard for about $500.
I can honestly say that these are comparable. The Standard obviously wins, but the Special II is a really nice first Les Paul.

Those are cool little guitars. I still don't know why Epiphone doesn't use P-90s with that, but still a cool guitar.

I'd love to see them in TV yellow (or some sort of yellow finish) along with P-90s and a nice 50's style pickguard! That'd be one of the coolest Epis ever!

If you don't like finger prints you gotta live with them on black guitars, pick your self up a nice little bottle of guitar polish then. Love it to death.

Yeah, I love the old specials and the juniors. I still can't understand why Epi changed to a HB junior and a different kind of Special. But I guess they want those guitars to be true to their origins as "entry level" and "economy models"....

dallenhos, I see you probably have an old Junior there... Ever played slide on that? If not, try it, you'll be floored!

Its a Gibson Melody Maker, never played slide, I'll try it though. I'm selling it though.

Well my first car was a 1994 Nissan Sentra SE-R that i put a Jdm front end convertion on it. Plus Jdm Jerry has a nice ring to it.
