Elitist SG 61RE
Item has been sold!... what a waste...
![]() ![]() Yes/No. Awaiting a reply from Ishibashi regarding the guitar. And IF its still available.. should I jump on it?? (green light alr given by my significant other). But when this comes I gotta sell my standard, though I don't know how much a guitar with autographs on the back and a hairline crack at the neck would get me. And no... keeping it isn't an option. Oh its about 58,000 JPY without hardcase, shipping included which would make it about SGD 780. Which makes that USD 563...

Re: Elitist SG 61RE
Dude, Epi Standards autographed or not are hugely replacable. This Elitist at $500 is an AWESOME guitar and an incredibly rare one at that. Don't let this one get away if you have the green light! Please! Probably my favorite Elitist I've seen! C'mon do it now!!!

Re: Elitist SG 61RE
Absolutely gorgeous!!! Not easy coming from me, But this Elitist most likely would blow the doors off of the Gibson Special Faded series! WAY better equipped, not stripped!

Re: Elitist SG 61RE
Buddy - that is a good looking guitar! It'd be nice if it had a case - but considering A) your location and B) the price, if you can do it - DO IT! Its not a Les Paul, but it'll be an amazing guitar, guaranteed. I love Epiphone guitars, they rock - don't get me wrong - but I'll probably never play any of my Epis now that I've got a couple of Elitists - they are THAT NICE!! You'll still have your beautiful Custom for that LP feel, but that SG will be a very worthy replacement for your Standard!
Its a nicer guitar than the Gibson Faded - guaranteed!

Re: Elitist SG 61RE
Yeah about the case I'd prolly ask them IF they have any soft/hardcase in stock and prolly just get an OEM one. Just so it'll put my mind at ease with the shipping..
I bought my custom and an effect from them and the way they packed it, there was no way an ant could breathe! |

Ishibashi u-box Try it, might have something for you guys but considering the fact that everything and anything you guys need is readily available, looking through it isn't even needed. |

Re: Elitist SG 61RE
Damn, that sucks!
Paul - incredibly rare. There are a few MIJ Epi's and Elite's that have the open book headstocks - hard to find, though! (if you do - they are a cut above the rest of the Epis - on par w/ Gibson - be sure to snatch it up!) |

Re: Elitist SG 61RE
Probably weren't selling enough of 'em. I'm guessing thats why they got rid of the Studio LP's, the plain top Standard LP's, the red Customs, etc. Its too bad, really - the Elitist Studio was whole lot of guitar for the money...

Re: Elitist SG 61RE
Thank you for your email!
![]() I'm very sorry to inform you that the used Epiphone Elitist SG is currently on hold for another customer. There's a bit of a waiting list for this item already, but I will keep an eye on it and send you more information if it becomes available again. My apologies for the inconvenience! How sad... |

Re: Elitist SG 61RE
it's been two days since she came here ...
can't wait to plug her in because she has so incredible resonant (and beautiful) body and chords rings really well/nicely even unplugged ... quess the sustain will be just ...so it's been acoustic jamming so far (two evenings) and she seems to be very comfortable and enjoyable guitar to play ... and light as a feather as i mentioned earlier ... good catch indeed thanks lifele55
