Epi 56' Goldtop Necks.

just am wondering about the neck. the neck dosent seem like a 50s neck at all to me. its thin and small. like a 60's neck. im sure its a 60s style neck but why wouldnt epiphone put a 50s style neck on a 56' goldtop? maybe my hands are just big on both style necks.

I'm pretty sure that Epiphone uses "the same" neck profile on all of their guitars (Slash excluded). Saving some money, maybe?

That said, I have noticed some variation - my Goth Studio has a fatter neck than my Custom - although they're not called anything different, just inconsistent.

I've noticed that the Epi Elitist necks vary some as well - although they're generally a little fatter than the Epi neck, in my experience anyways.

There is no option though, for 50's or 60's or anything like that.
