Epi Les Paul Deluxe?

What do you guys know about these? I just got it on trade......

I DO know that it's light, has a big ass neck, and the original owner hardly played it. I have not seen another, but understand that they were Limited Edition from the sticker on the back of the headstock.

So, what say you, Epi Kings?

Re: Epi Les Paul Deluxe?

I've never seen one before - but I do like the color! Did you check the year on it?

Edit: Just found one here Epiphone Les Paul Deluxe that checks out at guitar dater as a '98 Korean (Unsung factory) made Les Paul Deluxe.

What are your plans for her?

They weren't available long, I know that. They had a red sparkle one at a local shop for a while.

Re: Epi Les Paul Deluxe?

It's available. The wife just told me that we are not in the business of collecting utility guitars! I was going to have Will make up some pickups for it, the next is awesome and the color is cool as hell.

Ah, well, she told me I can get another Burst when one shows up....

Re: Epi Les Paul Deluxe?

Well, at least there is that. Imagine, a Burst as a consolation prize to an Epi .

Re: Epi Les Paul Deluxe?

Doing a bit of research I found one article saying alder top over a mahogony body. One says maple neck while the other says mohagony neck. I have no idea what one is right, all I know is that it looks cool hanging in the shop window. If I wasnt putting in that order with US Masters it would already be sitting in my living room.
