My latest acquisition.

Well, I was going to get that custom ordered Les Paul, with wandering tone knob option. However the chinese package delivery service lost it in the pacific. Anyways, they reimbursed me, so I got a new guitar.

It's my 8th guitar, and 1st acoustic. Go figure.

Picked it up from souldriver here for 90 shipped. Great deal if you ask me.

Some random silver stuff on the guitar, where the fret markers are, on the headstock, and pickgaurd. Kinda cool if you ask me, but I'm sure it will wear off eventually. The "Whatever it takes" is going as soon as I can find a bottle of goo gone, or something similar. Plays rather nicely, but from what I hear, it was the more expensive model before it got replaced by something else. There was a neck repair, but it is practically seamless.

Anyways, on with the pics!

Yeah, I meant by feeling it. I really don't care what it looks like. I just got it to mess around on and practice.

Re: My latest acquisition.

It plays really nicely actually. I think it was 300-350 new. At least that's what souldriver said if I remember correctly.

Re: My latest acquisition.

Geez you guys act like it's the most hideous guitar on MLP..

It looks just fine, but the "whatever it takes" definitely needs to go.

As long as it sounds good and plays well, it's a good guitar. It won't look bad at all after some clean-up.

Yeah, I'm going to be spending some good time on this when I get to bring it home eventually. Not like I care about the looks that much.

Have you seen some of the guitars on MLP?

Besides, we just give each other a hard time.

Awful wasn't it? Send it back and I'll dispose of it properly.

You can even keep the case.

Yes, it is the name of Tom Morello's guitar for the Nightwatchmen. Check it out:

"Whatever It Takes" guitar - A custom Ibanez Galvador nylon string acoustic guitar he uses during concerts as The Nightwatchman. Plain body with 'Whatever It Takes ((star))' left of the bridge.

Nah, there is supposed to be a TRC there, but I can adjust the TR by going through the sound hole.

Yeah, it's nice to just pickup and play. Also I'm starting to play it on songs I'd normally play with an electric. I dunno, some variety is fun.
