I'm in a pickle. LOL
OK, so I am having a hard time deciding if new pickups are worth it on my Epi Les Paul Standard (honeyburst). For Christmas I'm getting the Blackheart little giant, new tubes, some 500k pots and some sozo caps and a setup. However I can't get the pickups for a while. I just wanna know if there worth it to drop 285 dollars on a set of Bareknucles,
If they are I will save up for them, if not, I will save some money for some guitar effect pedals. So my question is: Will the setup, pots, and caps be enough? Or will the pickups be really worth $285? Thx |

Re: I'm in a pickle. LOL
you may like the pickups after you do all the other work to it. start saving up, if it turns out you like what you have then you just have some money presaved for other coveted gear.

Ok well I think I'll just keep the stock pups that are in it right now, Im happy with them and I think they sound pretty good. And I'll definately get the caps pots and the setup, than Ill have a beast mode guitar.
