How many Epiphones do you own? - Page 2

One... 05 Ebony LP Standard.

Had an AJ200SCE but traded it for the Ovation. Better for plugged in play and live performing.

Don't think I'd get another... no bad reasons, just don't see a reason to get another one now. I have the sounds I want from the guitars I have... I would like a PRS at some point, but that's down the road.

I couldn't vote, as there was no category for me. I have one 56 Goldtop P90, but it's not more than enough, it is enough. Not because it is bad. But to the contrary it is so good that I don't need anymore. I've got Carvins, a vintage Gibby, and a Strat-style. The Epi has had a few mods and "corrections" but nothing you can really see. But things to make the P 90 sound even better. But I must confess that the Epi is my main guitar now.

I have two, but one is an SG style bottom tier that must have cost a few hundred or less, which was given to me. I'm glad I didn't let it affect my opinion of Epiphones though, as I love my LP.

Only have three of em layin around. One, the 08, (not pictured) Jr has...its sweet! But he likes the 99 w/ SD distortions, same blue just quilt,.. not + top. Custom....99 need pups? ask Sentry :~(
Strat??? maybe a VH III rip off?

Two, and the reason is as stated in the poll. They are in my sig. Both are MIK and off of Craigslist (great deals!). Here is a better picture of them (and before anybody asks, yeah, I took the pic in the bathroom! It was the room with the best light that day, and the pic still came out sort of dark!)

Wish I could find some black pickup rings like on your vintage sunburst. That looks pretty tasty.

Two....a '99 Sheraton and a '00 Les Paul Std Limited Edition.

The Sheraton is stock, the Les Paul has Gibson Burst Buckers in it, and different caps.

Be careful, the wall hanger might stain the Custom where it comes in contact with the guitar, it happened to my Gibby Custom, the porous paint absorbed the petroleum something or other in the rubber of the hanger…..that's one of the reasons my Epi Custom sits on paper, (above pic), when it's on the stand.

No need to worry about that on Epiphones. It only happens to nitro finished guitars.
(Every nitro finished guitar, not only Customs, by the way)

I used to have 5 but I sold off 2 LP Juniors I had gotten (1 for my son to learn on and 1 for me to mess with.) I currently have 3 that I play alot. A '02 LP Standard Cherryburst which I put in dbl cream Dimarzios (PAF & SD.) A '98 LP Standard wine red quilt with Duncans (Jazz & Dist) and a '96 SG (G400) that currently has EMG's (81 & 85.)
