Factory string gauge in a Gothic Les Paul ??
Hi guys!
I'm wondering what string gauge is the default (used in factory) for a Gothic Les Paul??. I found this http://www.epiphone.com/images/StringGauges.pdf and says that the default is .10 - .46, but I don't know how accurate or up to date is. Thanks in advance. |

Re: Factory string gauge in a Gothic Les Paul ??
Thanks diceman!!
I was thinking in change these .10 to .9. It's necessary to make changes in the original setup? any problem with the nut ? do you recommend to stay with the original gauge? what brand of strings do you recommend? Thanks in advance. Gg2. |

9's feel too light to me. Your nut slots should be fine - might need to do a slight truss rod adjustment.
I use Elixer (nanoweb) 10's - all the time, every time! |
