Am I just strange?

Does anyone else find it annoying resting they'r picking hands forarm on the edge of the LP, or do you guys hav ur picking hand floating on summit? Cas I'm used to cutaways (Ibanez) where they were so thin u cud just lay ur arm straight - but now my forarm is startin to hurt and I gotta wear a thick shirt or wristband, lol.

I'm a life long LP player, so it's not a problem for me. I'd suggest you suck it up and get used to it, it's worth it! (half kidding) lol.

I play my big fat Epi AJ acoustic a lot as well, so my LP seems downright slim

I rest my arm on the edge, but it's yet to really be a bother.

I'd rather feel that edge than a contour - re-assures me that i've strapped on the right guitar....

I normally play a Strat(!) so there's some getting used to at first. But not much. It's the only guitar I have with a contour, so it's easily forgotten when you're in humbucker heaven!

I have a problem with putting the back of my picking palm on the bridge or intenation or w/e its called for solo`s

Having my guitar relic'd by RS Guitarworks fixed that issue. They rolled the edge of the binding, so now it doesn't dig into my arm.
