When Epiphone say they're only making 2000 of the Slash Goldtops, do they mean 2000 full stop? Or like 2000 Signed by Slash and then the rest normal?? Thanks in advance

Re: Slash Goldtop, only 2000??
My local Best Buy had one remaining and it was on manager's special for $699....and then my local dealer beat it because they still had three. The dealer said it was odd. They sold out of the Gibson's in two weeks

Re: Slash Goldtop, only 2000??
In Greece there is only one left...She is waiting for a buyer. It's on a guitar stand at Bon Studio S.A., the one and only importer of Gibson and Epiphones in Greece. From there all guitars are destributed to Greek music stores.
The thing is this...the guitar has a faulty toggle switch and there is some problem with the electronics. It's brand new but it seems that this one turned out to be a little "crazy" and that's the reason it's not have been sold. I've checked the serial it's an EE08..., the neck is slim, beautiful gold color, with seymours and the "Custom Shop" logo at the back. They told me i could get this guitar maybe 200-300Euros cheaper cause of the problems. Nothing for sure but i expect 750Euros top, and that if it's only the switch issue along with some bad soldering or a faulty pot/cap. They tolod me if there is a bigger issue they won't sell it. If anyone is interested i can help bringing you in contact. The web page of the importer is this www.BonStudio.gr and to verify this is a gibson partner you can check Gibson's page in the section of International Distributors. You can buy it though from the distributor cause they send it to a shop and from there you buy it. Ican help really cause if they send it to the shop abuy from i can get the best price as if i was buying it for myself and then you can contact the store to arrange payments and everything (i hope the ship outside Greece). Contact me if you want me to make a call and find a solution That's it. To tell you the truth though...except the alnico's this guitar has and of course the colour, there's nothing too fantastic in comparison with a normal epi les paul standard. Honestly, my DW 2006 Les Paul Standard has the same slim neck as Slash's signature. But of course mine has not got a long tenon neck... By the way, i checked out some amazing Gibson's there...words cannot describe how beautiful they are some of them!!!!! |
