I dont know why, but CUSTOMS in Brazil REFUSED to let the package I sent to ya thru!!!...and NO there wasn't any contraband in there!!...so here's the deal, I'm sending the Decals back out in a letter, by themselves, and I'll send ya the other stuff, a lil bit at a time...so you get it all....Decals are on the way, mailed 'em back out today!!

Why would I send guns or drugs to BRAZIL??...Dont they know ya'll are in South America??...Ya'll have PLENTY of guns and drugs down there without 'em being Imported!!..

..Have ya got the decals yet??...Sent 'em out on the 2nd and it's the 19th now...should be any day now

Well, the decals are not here yet, but you know, mail service takes really long time to come up, so let's wait. I'll keep you informed.

yllsacky, you're right, it's not precisely the same shape than Gibby's, but remember: I am not a Pro and this was the first time I ever done this kind of work. And for an amateur's work it looks very good!

Nice project. Keep practising. Personally I might've learned on something cheaper first - now I'm sorry to say it doesn't look much better than it did before; in fact it's worse. But practise gets you there.

When I saw the title of this thread, I'll admit that I face-palmed. I was pleasantly surprised by the results though, it looks about as close as most could get an epiphone headstock to look.

Honestly, I think I like Epi headstocks better. Sure, a Gibson headstock fires up a little bit more guitar lust, but if the designs were reversed, I think I would like Gibsons all the more.

If you really want to know what it is, just email your serial number to service@gibson.com and they will tell you exactly what color your guitar is, no real way to tell for certain from pics.

What's up folks! I've been away for a while recording a tv show for musicians and had no time left to stick around MLP...Well, I have received the decals that guitarman sent me, and they're awesome! But...I had no choice but to send my LP to a Luthier here in Rio, he will finish the headstock for me. I believe that I'll have her again by the end of this month/early October. That's it!

Glad to see ya back buddy!!....How was your vacation?? I hope you had a great time!!!...How do you like those decals??..."I" thought they were perfect..And the "Custom Shop" add on??...(a lil touch of class, I think)...It may not be an "Epiphone custom shop" guitar...but it sure is a "Pete Custom Shop" guitar!!...let us see what it looks like when it's finished...
