I've never seen a control cavity like that. That among a couple of other things are going to make me cast my vote as fake.

Several reasons, One: Fat lettering usually found on Koreans. Two: Two enlarged "EE" in the S/N (not always an indicator since Epi started making enlarged "EE"s for 08, but this is an 06 so this time it is), Three: No protective coating in the control cavity.

Theres something else also- The strap lug is too far from the neck. And, does the Customs all hav binding pinstriping on the back of the guitar? I cant recall.

Hey guys, this seller is in the same town as me. Is this fake? there's not many photos and the screw on the pick guard looks to close to the edge.

Well from those pictures I'd say its a legit... although the control cavity cover does look wierdish. Also no picture of the back of the headstock so can't be too sure about its authenticity.

Hello Guys, been playin for about a year and it's time for me to upgrade my $99 Epi Les Paul Junior Guitar Center special. I found a guy who wants to sell this 1 year old barely used Epi Standard Plus. Is it a fake? Sorry for the bad pics, asked for more but the guy wouldn't send me any, so that's making me leery.

Its one of the new ones with no plant identifier in the serial, which is why it didnt come up. Its good.

I dont know a lot about the Juniors, perhaps someone can add some experience to this.
I think you can trust the guy, though. It looks like all his other items are from estate sales or something, high quality stuff by the looks.
