All I can tell you is to practice every day. I hadn't practiced in almost a week until the day before yesterday, and I was sloppy! Since I didn't practice yesterday or today, I know I'll be sloppy again next time I practice! Also, keep your fingernails short to help you with your chords. If your nails hit the fretboard when you make a chord, they are too long. Check out Free guitar lessons - justinguitar.com - Learn how to play Guitar free here! Justin is a great teacher and has great close-up videos of chords, scales, etc. Another one to check out is Mojo at ThreeChordGuitar.com - free guitar lesson videos - part of the MojoCaster.com network Both of these guys are very patient and clear in their teaching, and their tips and videos are great!

Thanks!

I took a look at both those sites and think they will be a great help - especially wwwjustinguitar.com.
