Epihone On Layby

Well, I have just put my epiphone les paul standard cherry finish on lay by
at my local guitar shop. yet I have found the exact same guitar but with
the finish i was exactly looking for. I tried it out and they both feel the
same... but i want the other one, so do they charge extra for swapping
them even though they're exactly the same? They even cost the same price.

Thanks for the help.
I appreciate it.

Re: Epihone On Layby

Are both guitars at the same shop? What is lay by? Is that a Lay -a-Way kinda thing? Yea man I would suggest that you ask the shop. Each place is a little different and their policies may vary a bit.

For what its worth, if I owned the shop, I'd let you swap man free of charge man!!

Welcome to the forum!!

Same store , shouldn't be a problem. depends on the owner I guess. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Re: Epihone On Layby

lay-by means you pay for something
(such as a guitar) yet you don't pay
the full price. You don't get it until
you have completely payed it off.

OK so its Lay-a-way. Pay a little here a little there as long as you have it paid off by the agreed on date or your F****D

Re: Epihone On Layby

i don't think they should give you a problem, if they are both at the same store...

now when you put it on lay a way, was that recent, they might try to tell you that they had other people who wanted it, but since it was on lay a way for you they lost that sale..

but just remind them that they are still making a sale, and getting a pleased customer...

You can do it at GC. They give you 30 days and 20% down. Something like that. Not very good.
