Schecteraholic / darkangelsavior
I setup and made a trade online with a person named Schecteraholic / darkangelsavior
his name is Dave from Forth Smith Arkansas I sent him a Schecter Limited Edition Artist, along with a Digitech RP7 and a Fender Tuner pedal.. at first he claimed he never received it until UPS showed me his babysitter signed for it.. here are a couple PM's... Quote: Nope. I'm flat broke and unemployed. I can ship it C.O.D. if you'd like. Quote: Okay, I'll see if I can get it taken care of tomorrow. If not, I will definitely get it done next week. Sorry about all this. I'm really just going through a lot at the moment. I know it's not your problem, though. At least I didn't intend for it to be. Quote: I won't be able to get anything done until Friday. I may not be working 9 AM to 8 PM Monday through Thursday anymore, but my girlfriend still is. She has the car and the driver's license, so I have to wait until her day off. the friday excuse has been used 3x already.. I just wanted to give a heads up, I've already been ripped of and now the cops are involved.. thanks or listening Steve here is his myspace and his womans,, the detectives have already logged into my account and read all his PM's so I am doing as they ask and am making a final DEMAND for my equipment: if not they will file grand theft charges along whit his babysitter who signed for it and others who are involved in this theft.. sorry to be so harsh, but it has to validated and fixed I'm going to bed my meds are kickin in be back later forever who ever asked about pics of my LP, here ya go..

Re: Schecteraholic / darkangelsavior
I knew who you were talking about just by the title, apparently he's done this to others as well, stumbled onto some of his youtube vids when I was researching a blackjack for a firend of mine. The comments have since been removed and most of his vids seem to have comments disabled, this was about 3 months ago I think but on a bunch of his vids some very irate people were demanding their money or instruments back from him.
Good luck and remember, unless you know them VERY well, NEVER ship the product unless cash is in hand, IE paypal funds cleared and in the bank, checks cleared yada yada. |

Re: Schecteraholic / darkangelsavior
Wait... Tattooface doesn't have a job? Hmmm... I wonder why that is?! You'd think that employers would just be dying to get him on their payroll!
That really sucks, brother... Looking at all of the pix of "his" guitars - it looks like they're being well taken care of. Hopefully you can get it back. |

Re: Schecteraholic / darkangelsavior
No need to knock ink wells, I dont have any on my face, though I've had multiple facial piercings (avatar is a self pic) and have about 70% of my body actings as a canvas, and yes it can cause a little difficulty getting work in very small bread and butter towns or the upper echelon of the corprate world, but as a whole, body mods, even to the extreme are becoming very accepted these days.
"good" jobs for anyone are getting fairly scarce due to the state of the economy, cutbacks and penny pinching are putting a lot of tattooed and untattooed alike out of work. |

Re: Schecteraholic / darkangelsavior
I've got a couple on my neck, left hand fror nearly a decade, and right for 6 years or so and I've gotten by just fine, sometimes it gets in the way a little, sometimes it helps, but more often than not its really not an issue.
Back to the topic at hand, Indian, you said you made a trade, what were supposed to be getting? Trades can be tricky, as you have less options in getting your due if your trust gets violated. I've made a few online forum trades but I've never traded anything of high value, and always to people I've had some sort of long term connection to and even then it can be dicey, who ships first yada yada, my rule is the person with the least to lose ships first as early in the morning as possible and promptly provides proof of shipment, once verified the item is in the system and properly insured yada, the other does the same, with that method 80% of the time the items get there the same day. Also make sure that you get plenty of pics proving ownership, high res shots with the person your dealing with, and hand written evidence including the frum name and username in the photo with the goods, or at least a group shot of the goods and computer screen with the discussion page in CLEAR view. Once again good luck to you. |

Re: Schecteraholic / darkangelsavior
Which is how it should be - in a perfect world where people aren't prejudiced. I have a lot of good friends who have tons of ink (I was in the Army, which is tat city - not so much hands/neck/face, but lots on forearms, which are hard to hide. 2 of the 4 of us in my band have lower arm tats as well). I've known a lot of guys who have had to wear long sleeved shirts or ace wrap over their ink while at work.

Re: Schecteraholic / darkangelsavior
When I was in the navy I ended up getting that beautiful henna tattooing done overseas, too bad it washed off. My hands and neck looked so cool with all that middle eastern style stuff on them. But this loser who ripped off all these people shouldn't be allowed to wear ink.

Re: Schecteraholic / darkangelsavior
Any word yet indian? Worse come to worse maybe you could sic DJ on him for a small fee? I've been lucky and never been scammed...yet.... I'm really careful in my dealings though and let a lot pass if something remotely fishy comes up. Do keep us updated.

Re: Schecteraholic / darkangelsavior
haha, I forget about the one on my bicep, I never see it either. The ones on my forearms are hard to ignore.
Not as hard as mr. ripoff's face tats (that look like he did them with a ballpoint pen in front of a mirror). |

Re: Schecteraholic / darkangelsavior
Good point - maybe they're not permanent!
![]() I love ink. BUT. Sometimes you've just got to wonder what a guy was thinking... Although, I've seen some ladies w/ "makeup tattoos" which turned out looking TERRIBLE!!! Almost as bad as our friend w/ Scout's guitar there... |

Re: Schecteraholic / darkangelsavior
A few years ago I came up with the perfect tramp stamp....even offered to pay for it if the right bearer would take it....no takers....
Mid 80's arcade font....."insert coin to try again".....my soul mate bears that stamp ( one way or another )....... |
