Help Dating my Epiphone Les Paul Standart

I own 2 Gibson LP Studio that I like very much, but last week I went to a friendīs store and bought an excelent used Epi LP Standart with Gibson Classic 57 pickups, Gibson Vintage Deluxe Tunners, and all parts and eletronics changed to better ones. In my opinion it is an exelent guitar very well constructed as my other LPs and sounds great as good as my Gibsons. Iīm really in love with it but I donīt know how to date an Epi. Could anybody help me? It looks like an old model. The serial is
U01060836. Thanks a lot.

HAH! I beat you by a millisecond!

Anyways, the Guitar Dater site is your friend. DJ is just smart enough to understand the format - I cheat every time!

I used to live in Korea (stationed there w/ the Army) and purchased several guitars made by Unsung (an Epi, a ESP, a Jay Turser...) They turned out some pretty good stuff.

I'd start off by asking it to go out for a cup of coffee. After that, if things went well, progress to a movie or a light dinner. Before you know it, you're both hitting it off really well.

The mystery is over here, but I'm gonna pop in for two things:

first: ZING! Nice one

second: That is a very nice finish!

It's a fine tuner. It works like a Floyd Rose fine tuner. You can get very precise tuning with it.

Little known fact: that's actually how Nirvana got started

Well, its not a crap (like some telecasters tails). Its a Gibson tail with fine tunner. Some 335 models use it. You could be sure that you can get precise tunning with it, and the tension/sustain becomes better, like using the strings with topwrap.

Like some Telecasters?

And I didn't mean it was crap, I meant, "what kind of tailpiece is it?"

I just used vernacular.

Unhappy Re: Help Dating my Epiphone Les Paul Standart

Oh I´m sorry! I misundertood your comment. By the way, I was just talking about teles that use 2 strings saddles that is so hard to intonate. I got a Fender Telecaster that is one of my best guitars, I like it a lot. In my opinion it is the better guitar from Fender, but it needs individual saddles for a nice tunning.

Please forgive me bud.

Oh, no problem

My tele has three saddles, so I can intonate no problem. I just like the vintage look.

Thats what he meant 2 strings per saddle. Some tele never intonate with the three barrrel depends on the action and guitar in ?

A person can buy three piece compensated saddles.

ah, well whatever.

the one on my telecrapper intonated fine, but its just like some people can never get their guitars to stay in tune regardless of what is done to help the situation.

I thought he meant like two adjustment screws.

Oh well, I've only seen one or two of those and those were on eBay.
