My favorite guitar on earth, wrote and recorded most of the songs on a former bands
2nd,3rd, and 4th albums on it, MIJ Orville 59 reissue. This was the guitar that made me quit playing Gibsons.

Hey, all.

This is my first post, so I thought it fitting to post a picture of my "new" baby, a 2001 Korean Epi LP Custom. I bought it about a month ago and it was very weathered. Although the beat-up gold finishes looked kinda cool, I'm not all that partial to gold. I'm a big chrome/nickel fan, so I replaced the hardware with chrome gotoh tuners, new bridge/tailpiece, screws, pickguard brace.

I also completely re-wired the guitar, with new pots and switches, and installed new pickups - a GFS Vintage '59 Classic Alnico in the neck position and a Fat PAF in the bridge position.

I think the guitar looks fantastic, but I'm really proud of myself for not screwing up the sound. It really sounds beautiful even on my cheap, garbagey solid-state amp. Can't wait to hook it up to my bargain Crate V33-212 I've got on order. Hope you like it.

Gordon- it is a 01 Limited Edition MIK Classic Plus top, it's a great sounding guitar with a really nice top and SD JB and Jazz pickups. It's one of my favorites at the moment, the pic ony shows 7 0f 12 Les Pauls that I have and none of the Strats or acoustics.

Closeup

The one at the top is also a 00 Limted Edition Classic but in Quilted Cherry.

I don't clean them as often as I should, but I also travel a lot with them so it's a pain to keep the maintenance up all the time.

not scratches just smeared sweat, I play and it's more like a workout.
When they get polished and waxed they clean up real nice.
