How did they get it to fit through the letter slot?!

right on I couldn't tell. Looked a little dark to be honey but pics bring out more definition in the tops. oh yea hey bamm what finish is it??

Nice. I've been looking at getting a honey burst standard too. The neck was thicker than on a 50's profile Gibson I tried!

It's a dream to play. The frets already seem well polished, the action was perfect out of the box, and I was planning on switching out the pups, but I like them stock.

Congrats, looks like a good 'un. I bought a new honeyburst myself last week. Oiucs at the bottom of the thread here:

Plain tops - Plus tops, whats going on!!

Mine came from a different factory but it didn't have the Limited Lifetime guarantee sticker on the Pick Guard. Should that be on all new Epi's?

Hmm... mine came brand new with that warranty sticker on the pickguard. I ordered mine from MF online. Did you happen to purchase yours from a retail store? They might have taken it off there, if that was the case. Either way, I really don't think it would be anything to be concerned about.

Yeah they can vary mine is a 05 HB and it is real dark more like Gibsons rootbeer finish. There is a new one at a local store that look sick kinda mustard yellow in the center
