Welcome, 6 string. Your posts will get a lot of attention in the pickguard threads! You'll need some hi-res shots.

Jeeze OVERDRIVER why so hostel?? I'm sorry if Im a little vain about holes in my guitar. If I didnt care how my LP looked I would have got a striped down studio. Thanks Dice you gave me that little push I needed. Without fear of scratches I think I'm gonna take it off again. LOL

Re: pick gaurd hole
Part of the reason i want an archtop is for a pick guard.... i feel left out with the special with it being all flat and all.....
I would say with them on, but i am biased, ...... its a classic look, Although it does ruin the burst..... As for the holes, you can get touch up pens should you wish to do it permanitly, A site called reranch had them i think.....or was that just spray....

Re: pick gaurd hole
I used to take the pickguard off. I just put the screws in so I didn't lose them. I didn't worry about how it looked. I keep my options open. I keep it on these days. Just to preserve her modesty.

Re: pick gaurd hole
I got a Epi about a month ago, and I took the pickguard off. I really have had no problem with the hole(well screw cuz I put the screw in), IDK y everyone else is getting all riled up about, I mean its something pretty much only the person playing can see. I just thought of something, if you don't want to get all the materials and stuff and then fill the hole, why don't u just paint it reddish orangish? That would be really easy.

Re: pick gaurd hole
You just bumped it, dude!
![]() I have a new, seasonal, reason to keep the screw in: you can hang a Christmas ornament from it.

Re: pick gaurd hole
Top Tip
You could paint the pick guard the same colour as the guitar. LOL (Or did someone already think of this?)
