Re-wiring Epi LP Standard

I just opened up the wiring cavity and noticed this ridiculous mess. I was wondering if I could re-wire it like the 50's style Gibson wiring schematic I found in the Custom Shop board. I'm just not sure what wires are what compared to the actual guitar.

First post btw.

Re: Re-wiring Epi LP Standard

Thanks, but I meant what wires on the schematic are what wires on the real guitar.

Re: Re-wiring Epi LP Standard

Welcome to the forum. I am sure you will love it here, great bunch of guys and girls here.

Yes you can wire it the same as a Gibson. I did the re-wire to mine per the 50's style wiring mod.

Re: Re-wiring Epi LP Standard

Well it should say where every wire goes on the schematic.

you could.... but upgrading will improve your tone vastly, you will acutally find yourself using the tone knobs lol! a cheap upgrade would be orange drops, for a little more you can get a variety of paper in oil caps. jonsey is the cap man to contact around here, he can hook you up

Usually .022 in neck and bridge, but some do neck is .015 and .022 for bridge. Jonesy can help you a lot more than me.
