Re: Peter Green playing Epi LP (new video)

That was outstanding to see and hear. I was quite surprised at his selection of instruments... I am sure he could play whatever he wanted, but chose to play an Epi and a Squier.

Re: Peter Green playing Epi LP (new video)

yep, he's a real bluesman, no matter what the headstock says, he plays it and it sounds great!

on his latest dvd 'man of the world' he takes us through his guitar collection...
some dobros, nylon string acoustics, strats, martin sigma acoustic, some other acoustics,
ibanez iceman, japanese made fender telecaster, tanglewood memphis, some other archtops etc...
there was also one "violin bass" which he said to be only a bedroom warmer
peter prefer single pickup guitars in nowadays...

But he still has one guitar missing from his collection...what I wouldn't give to see him reunited with his burst, if only for a few songs. Man, and his vocals still sound a lot like they did while in the Mac.

Haha, was pretty surprised to see him playing an Epiphone, but a Squier? That was shocking.

Re: Peter Green playing Epi LP (new video)

I just watched the man of the world dvd. And he still has quite a collection of guitars. Some rare stuff in there. No les pauls. He fancies some odd guitars. Loved his one pickup theory as well. he should have a talk with the rev billy g about that.

Re: Peter Green playing Epi LP (new video)

Awesome, but almost any guitar can sound good through a point to point tube amp (I wonder what amp did he use)

At the same time, a Burst can sound like shit played through a line 6
