My New Epiphone LP Babyy!

Hey guys. After months of saving and planning for my new guitar, I finally got it! It's an Epiphone Les Paul Standard HCS Plus Top. It took alot of bargaining with the shop keeper to find a price that we agreed on, and i ended up saving a good $400. I have never played a guitar this wonderful! This baby just sings! I will be uploading pics, sometime tommorow. I had it set up and havent had any problems with it, apart from loose knobs, which I fixed. I am so excited, and I just want to play it over and over, but I can't, my family's asleep ATM. Anyways, pics tommorow guys!

Cheers,
MitchBob9

Exact same one as me! I got mine like a few weeks ago....how much did you end up buying it for? I got mine for $550 plus a free setup. Sweet guitar, although you should take the pickguard off

Re: My New Epiphone LP Babyy!

I think you should keep the pickguard on. That gives it the ole '59-ish LP look.

But hey, it's your guitar. That's entirely up to you.

Re: My New Epiphone LP Babyy!

Well, I got mine for $890au with a free Epiphone Hardcase and two free setups, they normally retail for $900au here, with just the guitar alone.

Re: My New Epiphone LP Babyy!

And the shop was originally going to sell it for $1100 for the guitar alone! Just proves how overpriced Australia can be!

Re: My New Epiphone LP Babyy!

Lol, I've been trying to take the pickguard off, to see what it looks like, but the screws are so damn tight. No1 that I've asked has been able to get it off. I think I'm gonna invest in a new screwdriver :P
