Knob Replacements for a Goldtop

I'm not all that thrilled with the look of the stock knobs on my goldtop. However, I'm not quite sure which knobs I should replace them with. What would you kind folks suggest?

There should be a Sticky - Make decision, stick to it and move on.

Re: Knob Replacements for a Goldtop

This might help. Create your own GT and try some different knob options until you come across a set that impresses you.

Knobs off. It improves the tone by around 13%.

I'm not really asking anyone to make a decision for me. I just want to know what my options are.

I should have just asked which knobs Slash uses.

Personally, I think gold on gold would be sweet.

I have the bottom ones (gold reflectors) on my GT.

Looks very cool, imo.

Re: Knob Replacements for a Goldtop

Those do look nice. Where did you get them? I'm assuming the ones made by Gibson won't fit properly on an Epiphone due to Epi making everything in metric?

Actually 2 of them came on my Bonamassa guitar, but I didn't care for the other two (amber knobs.)

So I swapped with a board member. He gave me 2 gold reflectors of his Bonamassa for the 2 amber ones off of mine.

Worked out nicely. plus we both got the added mojo of all 4 knobs having been off a Bonamassa GT.
