my GUITAR part2so...

I drive to the studio...and so far its pretty cool...in a expensive house in a rich neighbor hood..well the enineers really like my guitar but tell me i should use Elixir strings...i usuall use EB...so i change becaus the enineers dont want squeak...i ve already had two big Heinekins and its 10am....so i cant smoke either,,,,19 songs later 5 hours i get a reALLY cool album and they down mixwd right there...the last studio took a month....2 of the songs a keLLLLER....max fun!!!

Elixir strings are garbage, IMO. Same with Ernie balls.

Try some pure nickels. You can thank me later.

There are a few different brands of pure nickel.

I prefer DR Pure Blues. There are also Pyramid and Snake Oil. Ernie ball, D' addario and A few other companies have Pure Nickel, but Dr, Snake Oil and Pyramid have perfected them. They also last longer than standard Nickel Plated strings.

I have been using EB's since 1973 or so when I first discovered them. Through the years I have been ripped for garbage amps or noisy analog effects or whatever, but never for my strings. I think it goes back to the tone being in your fingers? Doesn't much matter what's connected to them?
