Hello folks ! Does anyone out there own an epiphone budokan.?
Have they been released ? Have they been sold out?
Has epiphone quietly decided not to produce this guitar ??
I have never seen one for sale at any dealer and musiciansfriend
says that the product has been discontinued.epiphone did not answer my emails.

The Budokans sold out in the first two weeks. Several members here were able to order one but the info from Gibson on exactly when they will ship has been very inconsistent. There will only be a total of 1000, that's why most of the dealers are saying discontinued. If you were hoping to get one it's too late. It would not however be a big surprise to see Epi decide on a second run.

I saw Bigfoot once but not a Budokan. I don't think they really exist.

Theres a picture on the forum with ace holding the new epiphone budokan and he signed it so someone must have one someplace. unless ace likes to sign his own personal guitars for himself.

I saw one I believe to be one today (I) plant code made in Korea.
What is the build quality from this plant.
Is there any difference between a budokan Ace and an older Ace model?
Not sure when this one was made.What was the retail on these?

Hey you never know. After reading his book he tries to come off as he does things for fun, for the art, for the fans or whatever but really he's all about the $ and his ego. I got the same impression about Gene simmons after reading kiss and make up. Kiss and makeup made me feel Gene thinks its the house simmons built and no one else. I'll give ace credit for mentioning important figures that help made them super stars behind the curtains at least.

i still love his music and image though.
