Introduction

Hi all. I'm hoping to join the ranks with a NGD announcement soon.
Hoping to do a deal on an Elitist honeyburst this weekend.
If that doesn't work out, I'll be on the lookout for a nice Epi Standard.

I'm a (hopefully reforming) brand snob. I have a '91 American Strat, and a '68 Gibson 335, but have always wanted a Les Paul.

I just can't justify spending the $$ on a Gibson Les Paul, but have done a lot of reading, and figure I'll be happy with the right Epiphone.
Hopefully the Elitist will work out. I'm pumped!!

Anything I should be on the lookout for with the Elitist? Don't know much about it yet, won't see it till the weekend. Should be in the $800.00 range with case.

Hope that your deal doesn't fall through, Elitists have a funny habit of slipping through people's hands here. Welcome to MLP!

Got it!!

Beautiful guitar. Needs strings, intonation, maybe a trussrod tweak.
And a new jackplate. Otherwise, it's in mint shape. barely a scratch on it anywhere.

Watch for a NGD tomorrow when I can get some photos.

Congrats!!! Hmmm, the way I see it, the only thing better than a honeyburst Epi LP would be a honeyburst Elitist
