Blue or Amber

hey guys whats up?

i know your getting tired of my so this'll be my last thread

so the past week or so i have been waiting on my new trans blue standard to get in. and i have been down to gc on a few occasions. mainly just to play things i cant afford. but i was sitting there looking at the ''wall of fun'' cuz hell thats what it really is, and came across this trans amber standard. now i have decided that i am tired of waiting for my new blue to come in and i want that trans amber. so i play it and play it some more and its no better or worse than the blue but damn does that amber look amazing.

so what do you guys/gals think?

The amber, why? Because its tangible. You can pick it up, smell it, play it, feel it in your hands. The trans blue may not speak to you. If the amber does, pick it up.

i mainly picked up the blue for its oddity, and the fact that not many play the blue. but the amber is like switching from a burnette to a blonde. both have their ups and downs. cept the blonde is way hotter.

god guitar center is going to hate me, they'll prolly ban me

Between those two choices, I'd say Amber every time.

Re: Blue or Amber

i don't think guitar center will hate you, they run their store for a reason---to sell guitars! if you end up leaving with one of their guitars I don't think they're realy going to care if they have one extra blue les paul in stock, chances are good it is going to get sold.

My vote: Amber

As stated above, I would get sick of the blue after a while, and if I got a good amber I would never get bored.

EDIT: My real vote would be honeyburst but that wasn't an option haha

yeah pretty much, but not wholeheartedly, i was merely cutting out any non play/work/school time to get better. plus unless myibanezacoustic.com is directly correlated with mlp im not in any immediate danger.

Re: Blue or Amber

I'd never go for a blue Les Paul! That's a traditional guitar and blue is not the colour for a historical instrument! (My opinion!...)

The only solution I see is one of each. I honestly think they're both pretty awesome colors... regardless of whether or not blue was a traditional guitar color! If we just stuck with tradition, we'd all still be playing one of these:

Re: Blue or Amber

I rented that blue type epi les paul standard once when my cherry sunburst was at the shop.
I didn't really like the blue up close and I really dig the close up of citrix's amber top. That's a nice flame.
