Need epiphone help/advice please?!?

Hello everyone I am a newbie at this thread stuff so If I am in the wrong place or wrong time thing please go easy on me : ). I am wondering what a '03 EPI les Paul lynard Skynyrd 30th anniversary signature edition goldtop may be worth, I can get my hand on one I 99% sure is authentic, it was purchased at my local music store and is up for sale by owner now (he purchased new @ store) guitar is mint no scratches looks as if he didn't play it much. It has the original. '57 classic and '57 plus in it. I like skynard and all but fret board as you all know has lynard skynard inlayed down the fretboard and not so crazy about that. I can probably get this axe for $240 should I jump On this? I really want a gold top, again not crazy about fretboard but if this is a smoking deal I may just purchase and try to resell or probably fall in love with sound and keep : )

I'd say $250 is a pretty good deal. I just looked up completed listings on ebay and one sold recently for $485 with 9 bids and another got a bid of $500but it didn't sell because the sellers reserve wasn't met,

Well everyone I did not purchase this something just didn't seem right, I took my amp (fender hot rod deluxe) plugged it In and lots of static narrowed it down to cord (brand new today) and when played it just didn't seem to sound like it should like someone took the '57's out of it, was in case when I got there leaning up in corner like its been there for years, guitar was gorgeous could have done without skynyrd on the fretboard, I'm sure the strings were not changed in years could have that made it sound really off... Sure but it just sounded like my really cheap epi SG I acquired years ago, something in my gut said something was wrong, needless to say I'm heartbroken I even debated just getting and buying new pups but just went with my gut

And I didn't like the fact it was leaning in corner on neck, but I never even looked at the neck for some reason
