Ya gotta keep up with the epi news on their site and keep asking folks here on this site and others. Lots of folks here have info to share.

Once the gibson versions released, I kept emailing epi CS asking if an epi version was gonna be released. There was talk of another ACE since last summer Hints were being dropped this past fall and with NAMM in early jan, that was gonna be their springboard. We are 5 months out from estimated delivery. Thats pretty reasonable for pre-orders. If folks are buyin' them up thru preorders, thats the way it goes on just about everything. I have a feeling there will be a second run or more if the demand is there...just like the JB, and remember epi is in business to make money.

So hang in there, there may be more on the way or a lot of us are gonna get screwed, pre-order or not

Spoke with AMS. They are getting 60 epiphone's in and thats it. The salesperson stated they already have 42 ordered. He also stated that once they sell all 60 they will not be getting anymore, and the guitar will show "unavailable" on the web site.

FYI - Brian a call center supervisor was awesome! He helped me out big time, and also honered the 15% discount eventhough I ordered the guitar on 1/26. Expeceted shipping date is 3/23-4/2.

The way these guitars are moving I would not be suprised to see a second run edition.

I know what you mean. When I preordered mine my mindset was it's a great guitar at a great price, but damn if I haven't been watching a crapload of Ace videos these past couple of days!

So this thing has worked its way into my dreams... After watching a bunch of videos of the feds raiding Gibson RIGHT before I went to sleep. I had a nightmare lastnight that when I went to pick mine up it was this complete pile of garbage. At the last minute Gibson/Epiphone decided to cut TONS of corners. Including a richlite fret board, no binding at all. Stylized inlays instead of the blocks.... and it was super thin like an SG with a bolt on neck. I woke up this morning almost hyperventilating! Yikes!

Well following news from my lady's doctor it's looking less and less likely i'll ever get one. She's really ill and will likely be out of work for the next year.
So my march bonus will be spent on the mortgage and shiz.
all is not lost though. If my local dealer gets it I can get it on 0% 12 months delayed finance. By which time I have a sizeable lump due.
