They will honor that 15% if it was the same company your original order was with.

Zzounds and American Musical (and Same Day Music) all share the same inventory, but are separate companies. If you've had your AMS order in for a while and it hasn't gotten cancelled, I'd imagine you're safe.

Where do guys get that Ace has received shipment and is "hoarding them" for sale at a higher price? The link on his site says PRE-ORDER - so I would expect he's in the same boat as everyone else... And, if he offers them signed at a higher price, well then GREAT FOR HIM - you can buy one if you like, or not if you like - but I don't see that he's cut to the front of the line.

In other news... My patience/interest is flagging...

Have my eyes on two Gibbys - both of which bear a striking resemblance to the axe being discussed here:

The Gibby Budokan version with three working PUPS: Gibson.com: Gibson Ace Frehley Budokan Les Paul Custom

or an early 60s with Bigsby: Gibson.com: Gibson Custom Collector's Choice #3 1960 Les Paul "The Babe"

Either way, I get my cherry-burst itch scratched!
