Re: Epiphone Slash AFD how many of the 3000 are here?

I think the Epi AFD is a H**L of a guitar. I have Fenders in the 2-3K range, and i played alot on my cousins Vintage Gibby LP from the 60's , actually i borrowed it for a few months. And to my opinion the AFD is a good guitar period.

Also it feature some specs other Epis do not have....and it's only made 3000 really a shame we only counted to 9 so far......top hat optional ...........

Let's not make this a Epi vs Gibby thread...

1. What is H**L ? I am German and I give my best in improving my English skills, but I can't imagina word at the moment. Maybe because it's 11:30 PM on Friday after a hard school week.

2. Yes you're right.

I can visit Germany and communicate with people in german, and function without speaking english...but on more advanced conversation my vocabulary is a lot greater in english...

@PapaManz
Wow that's some ****ing nice top.

Re: Epiphone Slash AFD how many of the 3000 are here?

Well, add me to the list, I got one, will probably get it latter part of next week as it's coming from the east coast. First time buying a guitar sight unseen or played, but I have played epi's in the past at stores and thought they were ok. Just cuz it's not made in the USA doesn't always mean it's crap. My main strat is a standard squier series from 95 made in mexico. Yes I have US made strats but i always come back to my 95 one. Every gig I've done since 1995 it's been used at.

Photos of the AFD from the seller-

I think this one has a bit better top than the ebay auction I was watching. Only thing I won't get are the picks that came with it, but I got everything else. Having played a VOS AFD by the custom shop, and noticing how badly it was setup and felt, this can't be worse, and a fraction of the cost of that!

Full review when I get it!
