Re: Pics of my new Les Paul Custom

i wish the fretboard inlays on the customs were more trapezoidal, the rectangle inlays seem to take away from the rest of the beauty of the guitar.

Love the cherry burst! when I get another les paul I'm going for a cherry burst.

I was the same, prefer the trapezoid myself, but i also prefer many different aspects of the custom, binding, diamond headstock etc. Sure you cant have everything eh???

I bought it from Thomann in Germany, ordered it last Thursday and it came this morning, they are really good and very helpful!!!!!

Re: Pics of my new Les Paul Custom

Congrats on that!!!! That is beautiful!!!

I remember several years back when I first started looking into buying an Epiphone Les Paul...... THAT was the model I wanted!!

Les Paul Custom Plus Cherry Sunburst!!

So........ yeah............. I ended up getting one! And it's one of my favorite guitars of all time!

I love the look! Cherry Sunburst, black plastic, gold hardware, BLOCK INLAY, binding front and back.... just AWESOME!!

Here's a video of me playing mine:

YouTube - Epiphone Les Paul Custom Cherry Sunburst

Here's mine...... it doesn't have as nice a flame as yours though.... :

I'd say go for it!!! I had ordered a different guitar but it was out of stock, and they were very helpful changing the order. I ordered it Wednesday evening, it was sent Thursday morning, and came the next Wednesday. Everything was packaged great no chance of damage, and if there was there is no bother returning it. I have to say I was a worried a bit ordering off the internet but Thomann were great!!!!

Re: Pics of my new Les Paul Custom

Sounds good to me,my only problem is having to have orders delivered to an alternative address from the one my Credit Card is registered at.Being in the Forces, and the fact that i ship back out to Afghanistan very soon, means there will be no one available at my home address.I`ll give Thomann a call and see if they can ship to an alternative address,if they will,it looks like i`ll be joining the Custom Club too.
