Tried the new Epi Slash AFD Model--whoaaa!!!

I was at GC this am, making a trade on bass gear I wanted to get rid off--as I was waiting, something caught the corner of my eye--it was the new Epiphone Slash AFD LP, begging for me to pick-up and play--I plugged it into a nearby BlackStarr mini-stack and whoaaa--did this thing sound/play pretty f'n sweet!! I was duly impressed--now I'm thinking about seriously getting one hopefully soon, it does rival my 2 Elitists in both playbility and tone!!

Do it!

I would like to see a good comparison as that.

no kidding--I'll wait 'til the prices drop down, LOL!! Or get my tax refund--I can use this guitar as my main gigging guitar while my 2 Elitists stay home protected--or occasionally gigged once in awhile, too

I saw one of those too and it looked/sounded nice, but $1000 for Epiphone? That's when I consider a Gibson instead.

Re: Tried the new Epi Slash AFD Model--whoaaa!!!

that's the debate I had when I tried it---$1000.00 for a Chinese Epiphone?? I rather pay that for a Japanese or Korean guitar, but then again, this is NOT your typical 'run-of-the-mill' Epi, it could be collectable in years to come, you just never know.
