It's brand new supposedly, bought in Jan 08'

I'm so glad, my dream guitar ! Not a gibson but like 100K's % better than my worn out Audiovox LOL !

Now i will be able to lay my Guitar Hero controller where it's supposed...in it's box...and spend my spare time with something REAL.

Could not agree more !

After two failed attempts to buy an Epi Les Paul from eBay (both sellers are still selling and have 100% Feedback !) I went to PMT and bought an Epi Les Paul Standard for £350 incl. 3 YEARS warranty (and guitar tech back up)!
You can get one from their website for £300 without the 3 year warranty (just 12 months).

Thinking of buying from eBay in the UK ? I would say that you are practically guaranteed to get a fake.

Don't do it people. Pay the extra and KNOW that you have a GENUINE Epiphone.

At least I got refunded for the eBay transactions. Some don't.

I know it is a bit late as the auction has finished. But why would a guitar imported from China have a USA Inspection ticket ?

Practically all Epiphones on eBay UK are fake !

All Epiphones are set up and inspected in the U.S., if its missing the decal, theres cause for concern. But most of the time the fakers put one on.

I don't think I made myself clear that I am in England. I don't think the guitars that come to England go through the USA first. The cost would be astronomical.
I bought my Epiphone from a well known guitar shop and it didn't have a USA inspection sticker.
I would be even more suspicious of a UK Epiphone having a USA inspection sticker.
