they even took a headstock pics off a different LP custom

and the knobs are way off

Actually, letting them know its fake they can get their money back and buy a genuine guitar... though many people don't care.

I've purchased (an obviously fake) LP... Invalid S/N, probably plastic body, and a lot of little faults. When I saw the big MADE IN KOREA text on the box, I was really upset..

I'll defenetly do that... I'm really upset, cuz I bought this as a Christmas present.. I wrote a letter to Gibson about getting an official statement about the authencity of the guitar. It would help me a lot to prove my point at Paypal..

theres a whole load of things wrong with that guitar.

You wont have to prove to paypal that its a fake and the seller will know that it is you shouldnt have any problems...

according to the serial number made in the 86th Month of 2005

, also you said it had made in korea on the box, thats a chinese (fake) serial number... Also and Im sure someone will correct me if im wrong but I dont believe their is a plain ebony zak wilde LP

Probably ruined your christmas too.... Put it behind you and have a great time anyhow....

This was a lesson.. Next time i'll buy from the local PMT, or only after examining the guitar with my own eyes/hands..

Book matched top and back on a black guitar - thats good

If youve got a PMT nearby just go and buy from those guys, as ive said before prob the only shop that has stock at the moment in the UK
