I personally dont trust them, since they arent reputable and the pics are stock Epiphone website pics, just seems not quite right to me. The last site wouldnt come up for me.

Someone in the Gibson thread just got ripped off that way and now, the guy has free reign over his checking account aand has ruined him.

THeres also Ebay cloning going on, so that you can have a clean feedback, but its all phony.

Steer clear, IMO
I have checked his feedback and he seems to have been reliable and sold quite a few more expensive guitars. Have messaged him and he claims to own a studio where musicisians often give him instruments in return for time. I dont know that he would have a lot of knowledge etc..

I am inclined to steer clear based on what you say but am curious as to whether it looks legit itself..the guitar.

Thanks

I don't see much wrong with it from the knob stand point. I would stay away unless you can get better pics.

Re: The Fake Epiphone Thread!

See mzonline have got one, the price puts me off and he also offered me a fake Joe perry Boneyard so im a little hesitant from going to them.

I will call the guy and see if i can get some better pics.

Just had a xmas bonus so might be in the market for the Gibson model but im even more wary of a fake with the price tag on the gibson.

Andy

No, Im actually not. I dont see what youre seeing apparently, other than maybe its lighter in color on the fretboard and the finish. Everything else appears ok. If you were referring to the two "EE"s, Epi issued guitars in 08' with enlarged "E"s and then took them off altogether, other then that, I suppose I am missing something.

Edit: And the lightness could be the flash, mine was that way when I bought it.
