Changing PUP's - Epiphone wiring issue
Hi guys, I'm in the process of changing the pups in my Epi LP Standard (2009 MiC) to Gibson Burstbucker Pro's. On the Bridge PUP there's only a single wire coming from the new PUP. There's only one on the Epi PUP, but once I peel back the plastic wire coating there are 4 smaller wires (black, white, green and red). What do I connect the new BB Pro wire to, do I just cut the existing grey wire, and connect the BB Pro wire to that, that way I'm not interferring with the existing 4 into 1 wire connection.
It's a similar score on the Neck PUP, the single black wire, has a secondary smaller white coming out of it, connecting a terminal no the Vol pot.

Yes, it's a braided outer casing around the electric wire.
