Les Paul Studio pickups question
I have an Epihpone Les Paul Studio with the chrome covered humbuckers.
My question is, if I remove the chrome piece off each pickup, will it have the regular humuckers underneath? I prefer the bare pickup look over the chrome as to me, less is more. |

Re: Les Paul Studio pickups question
If you mean will it just be the open coil pickups like these:
, then yes. Do you know how to go about getting them off?

Re: Les Paul Studio pickups question
Yep they should look like that if you took off the covers.
And yeah that is basically what you have to do, make sure to slide a razor blade or something through the sodder when you head it up. Good luck!
