New Gear Day - Standard Plus

Hey guys,

Please help me check this serial number out:

081215220031

It is on a Epi LP Standard Plus, purchased from a big store in Toronto.

[edit: never mind, don't know why guitardater didn't recognize it, but it's made in China in December 08. pictures tmr, very likely one of the most flamy plus ever :x :">]

On my Epiphone Standard, I just left out the screw. Looks fine to me.

However StewMac does sell a touch up pen: STEWMAC.COM : ColorTone Touchup Markers

If you really you want to you could probably fill up the hole with something, then apply this on top. However, If you ever want to put the pickguard back on, you would have to drill into the body again.

Not worth it IMO but hey it's your guitar man.

Nope, I won't do something against the original finish.
Either have a nice-looking screw, or just leave it as that, or put the pickguard on. I'm open for variation
And the markers look nice... :-)
