Nice, I love that model. Can't wait to see the pics. How does it play? What are you playing it through?

First model or second model with the shadow pickup? I always liked the first model, but never liked it's price tag, but they have been falling like crazy as of late. I like the tummy cut and slim satin neck. Kind of a strat/LP hybrid.

Hughes and Kettner 60W Edition Blue. And 99% of the time I run a Boss Blues Driver. Sometimes there might be a DS-1 distortion or a Crybaby.

Funny thing is I am looking for a new amp right now. I really want a tube amp, but haven't found the "one" yet.

Budget is the limiting factor I'd say, but I am no expert. One tip - I have a Pro Jr practice amp, 15 watt tube setup by Fender with volume and tone, nothing else. It is a night and day difference plugging it into a speaker cabinet. Using a cab instead of the stock speaker made me decide to keep it when I was thinking of letting it go due to the mediocre tone from it out of the box. I say this only because the hubbub about modding Blues Juniors might really be worth it.

Best of luck, it looks like a great guitar.

Re: NGD!!!! Epi LP Ultra...

I am probably going to wait until I can get the one that absolutely fulfills my needs. I have gone through the phase of trading equipment around, thinking I was getting what I wanted, but ending up regretting the decision. So yes, budget is a factor, but it i only going to keep me from being impetuous and buying "today".

I have tried the Orange Tiny Terror and I really liked it until I tried the Vox in the same class and it far and away was a better amp. I want to say that it was called the Night Train, but I won't swear to it. I am just going to keep trying amps until I find the amp that will suit my needs for the long term.

I think that is a smart choice. Best of luck in finding the right amp.
