Are these fake Epiphones?
I'm in the process of buying an Epi right now and I really need someone to verify if these are legit, I really like the look of the Vintage sunburst one but if its a fake the others will do as well. So here it goes:
1. GIBSON EPIPHONE LES PAUL CUSTOM ELECTRIC GUITAR. on eBay (end time 14-Apr-10 15:34:32 BST) 2. Epiphone Custom Les Paul Electric Guitar VS on eBay (end time 04-Apr-10 14:57:48 BST) 3. Les Paul White Alpine Electric Guitar + Gator Case on eBay (end time 06-Apr-10 18:22:30 BST) 4. 'MINT' Epiphone Les Paul Custom 'Tuxedo' on eBay (end time 03-Apr-10 14:58:16 BST) So, are they fake, not fake? Please tell me because I'm not good when it comes to things like this |

I only got the 4th link to work, but IMO, it's a bad fake. Anytime you see the EE written bigger than the actual numbers, stay clear.
I'm not the expert here at MLP, but I know that. |

3 is now removed and 4 is certainly a fake. 1 & 2 look better from what the pics show but I'd be very cautious as Ebay UK has had a lot of iffy ones showing up recently. 2 still has protection on the scratch plate? Alder/Mahogany body?
I'd play safe and buy a Vintage V100

Ok, the owner of the 3rd guitar responded to me, he said the serial number is U04081957 so:
Unsung Plant, Korea August 2004 Production Number: 1957 He also said he'll get a few photos of the headstock up soon. |

Ok, so I decided to give up on eBay since there is too much risk, I found a guitar in my local area....the pictures on this look legit right?
