"1981 Les Paul Pelham Blue" Help ID'ng fake
Hey guys. Say this on my local craigslist. I think its a fake. Not sure. 1981 Gibson Les Paul
Doesn't have Les Paul logo and extremely large headstock. I've heard of Large 70's/80's headstocks but this one is ridiculous.

It's not a Les Paul, it's a Gibson Firebrand like he states in the ad.

They were basically the all-mahogany version of "The Paul" (which was released around the same time, but with walnut bodies).

Cool guitars, reasonably priced , I cant say for certain the finish is original ,but I am NOT saying it isn't. Would have to see it to be sure
