Re: Very Rare Mystery Gibson
I've never seen those inlays on an unbound neck. Have you guys? Every Gibson I've seen with these floral inlays -- or the Super-400 style blocks, for that matter -- I've always seen them on bound necks.
I don't know if it's fake or real, but I do know that there's no way in hell I'd be interested in it at that price. Even if it was a real prototype, I wouldn't consider any price in five figures to be realistic. |

Re: Very Rare Mystery Gibson
I wonder if he's been influenced by that idiot who's trying to get 100,000 gbp on Ebay for one of those. Nice guitars, but not exceptionally valuable.
A deluxe caught my eye on their website until I saw this. 1976 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe This is a sweet guitar. Comes with Gibson gig bag. A former happy owner decided to etch their friends names into the backside of the body. They are not very noticeable unless you look close. Firstly, why only a gigbag? Secondly, what kind of idiot scratches friend's names on to the bag f a Les Paul. I know it's not exactly the store's fault, but it just caught my eye.
