TRC Question
Hey all,
I will probably be getting one of the all mahogany LP kits from guitarfetish.com. I would like to turn it into a cherry sunburst vintage Gibson LP. I was wondering, if its possible to have a Gibson style TRC to work on a 3 screw style TRC. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. And if Im unclear, I will try to explain it again.

yes. I did it to my Edwards. I glued the lower screw to the TRC and fastened it by just the top screw. I believe I had to cut the lower screw to clear the truss rod nut also.

You could also add a veneer to the top of the headstock, which would give something for the bottom screw to bite into.
