Getting my Epi LP Std. Set-up
Just wondering if there is any reason I shouldn't get my guitar set-up at the GC. I generally try to avoid it, but uh.. yeah. It's closest..easiest around.
I have some minor fret buzz on the low 'e' string and its starting to drive me nuts. I've never gotten a guitar set-up actually ( )anyways... thinking of having them put in a new nut, probably a bone or tusq as well just for good measure.. |

Unless they will file your nut slots, don't waste your time or money - as a setup is of minimal impact without your nut slots getting worked over.
(Woops - I guess they'd have to with the new nut! IF they have a good tech working there, go for it.) |

Re: Getting my Epi LP Std. Set-up
if ya in NY, maybe go to the NYC GC...... most techs at GCs are outsider guys who contract space from GC to do their work...
