Who can repair a vintage Gibson case?
I have a 64 EBO with the original case & the case is in need of some restoration. The stitching is shot otherwise it is in good shape. Does anyone know of anyone who can fix my case properly? I have owned this guitar since 1991 & the case has been in storage all these years.
Here are some pics of the case. ![]() ![]() All of the duct tape was put on the case by the previous owner. Here is a pic of the bass

Auto upholstery shops can help with that job.

Re: Who can repair a vintage Gibson case?
I've got a similar case from a '67 ES-335. I think it's essentially cardboard (yeah, original Gibson cardboard!). The thread has just rotted over the years, but the holes it went through seem intact. If you find someone who does a good job on it, let me know! I was going to hunt up a luggage repair shop here in LA (I've also got an L5-S case -- absolutely impossible to find a replacement for -- that needs a handle).
