Pointer Installation?

Hi guys, I'm back, and I have a question. I'm thinking about ordering some Fatboy Re-Vibe pointers, but I have no idea how to install them, I'm assuming it's easy but I have no idea. Can anyone help with this? Thanks in advance!

take off the knobs. (i like wrapping a string, old t-shirt, or plastic bag around the knob and pull up) take off the nut. replace the washer with the pointer. reassemble making sure the pointers are facing the right way.

the hard part is making sure that the pots dont fall through, or a nut drops and you cant find it.

I got the ones from allparts and like them though they aren't the accurate shape! It's probably better when they're angled up to about 90 degrees as this is how you'll see the current knob position better ... what I just wanted to show is the way mine are installed! There are some washers under the pointers, so they doesn't touch the top! Somehow I like that and I was currious if anybody else does it that way?
