Sticky Gibson toggle switch??
Hey all,
Just received a brand new Gibson Explorer, and everything is great except for the 3-way toggle switch. When I flip it to the neck position, you almost have to force it into position...obviously not normal. Seems like maybe there's some gunk inside that area of the switch or something. Anyone experienced this with their switches? It flips to the bridge very smoothly. Anyway would a shot of contact spray remedy this? By the way, how do you guys usually go about unscrewing the O ring which holds the toggle switch in place? That sucker is on there very tight and I don't want to use the wrong tool to unscrew it and and end up scratching the crap out of it or something. Thanks for any help here! James |
