Aniline Darkburst (Re)-Finish

Been absent from the forum for a while, Ive been training for a race next year, and have another baby on the way. Trying to squeak some guitar work into the mix. Here is one I sprayed today. I've been experimenting with aniline dyes and trying to get a vintage darkburst that will fade. I added some blue to the mix instead of black and this is what I came up with. Now its time to start fading it. Hopefully the blue will give some greening after the fade.

Looks like a nice shoot !! How will you fade it ? Natural sun or tanning bed ?

Sunlight. I have access to a tanning bed, but no 220 power in the basement. I think this guitar is going to sound really killer, and is really lightweight. Unfortunately I don't get to keep this one.

Ironman Kentucky in August. Needed to get motivated to get in shape, so I figured I'd shoot big.

That is funny there was one guy there who played really incredable , but when he tried the 7 string he was befuddled

its only a added low B the other 6 is normal guitar

Now that its cold again I will be on the computer more. Baby is due May 20th (a boy

Hey dude, is there anywhere on the web/elsewhere where I can learn the process and techniques to bursting an LP? I think I've mentioned it before, but I wanna re-burst my very amature-looking burst on my Epi LP.

BTW, that is gorgeous!!!
