Go for it Dude! It looks interesting! Wait a minute, do you have a clipping of Hendrix there? If you do, you need a bigger one. Really want to see it when its done. Post lots of pics.

Let me know something ... how are you going to apply the finish ?? Is it going to be a decal ... and if its, how are you going to print it ??

Well actually it's paper, an it's in four sections (Body). I just let the paper soak in some Poly and then applied it to the guitar, waited some time and started trimming away

Please tell me you got some photos of the process. That would be neat to keep in mind and see how you went about it. How long did it take you?

Re: Designs for my LP

yes, you should add a stinger! Stingers are badass.

Thats looks great so far man. I think with the light black burst around the edges it will look really good.

Building the guitar was about 2 months if i'm correct, don't really remember exactly haha. The paper process took about 3 weeks, but mainly because of trial and error . I don't think I have any pictures, but I will check my camera's

Thank you kind sir

Yeah I'm definitely keeping it an option right now, I love the way the stingers look . I just need a good picture of one for the basic shape and to know what fret it stops at.

Awesome! But I agree with an above statement; I woulda left the headstock black. But way cool nevertheless.

I was gonna leave the headstock black, but it was going to be too much work to get the holly veneer with the Gibson logo. So i decided to just do it this way, plus I like how it matches.
